About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring a laboratory support technician to work full time, day shifts in the Anatomic Pathology Lab at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital. As a laboratory support technician (LST) duties are to prepare specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff Perform instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures Sentara is focused on living its mission — to improve health every day. Requirements

Bachelors degree (required)
Histology Lab candidates with a Bachelor of Science in general studies with 12 semester hours (18 quarter hours) in biology and chemistry will qualify
No certification or licensure required
