Hematology Oncology Associates was established in Palm Beach County over 35 years ago, and has grown to include 10 Board Certified Hematologist and Oncologists and 6 Nurse Practitioners in 3 convenient locations within our community. Our goals are to provide state of the art cancer treatments with a high level of compassionate care in a warm inviting environment. We also specialize in treatment of coagulation blood disorders, leukemias and other hematologic benign conditions. Job Description: Supervise daily laboratory operations, including specimen collection, processing, analysis, and reporting. Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and all other regulatory requirements. Oversee and perform testing in hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and other relevant areas. Manage, train, and evaluate laboratory staff; ensure competency assessments and continuing education. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain quality control programs. Monitor inventory and coordinate the ordering and maintenance of lab supplies and equipment. Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to support patient care. Investigate and resolve technical and operational problems. Participate in laboratory inspections and ensure readiness for audits or accreditation reviews. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely and accurate test result reporting.
