Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week A Laboratory Supervisor who excels in this role supervises daily staff activities for an assigned area or function. Additional responsibilities for this role include: Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Lead the work of others who perform essentially the same work. May set priorities, schedule and review work, but have no responsibility to hire, terminate, review performance and/or make pay decisions. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

• Applicants should have a minimum of being a associates degree graduate from related field of study/applicable discipline (these qualifications are required).
• Active and valid ASCP or AMT lab certification.
