About The Position

In preparation for the opening of our new UF Health Durbin Park Hospital in September of 2026, we are seeking an experienced laboratory supervisor to lead the efforts in finalizing the physical laboratory space, recruiting and evaluating staff for operations, and ensuring policies and standards are developed to complete the successful opening in the Fall.

Requirements

• Licensed laboratory supervisor in the state of Florida is required.
• Successful candidate will have a generalist background and demonstrated experience in building and leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements is required.
• Experience in creating and documenting work flows is essential.

Nice To Haves

• National certification from ASCP Board of Certification (BOC) is preferred.
• Prior success in continuous performance improvement and operational assessments is strongly desired
