About The Position

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to provide essential operational support to the US Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth coordination across scientific teams, global sites, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in operations support within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO industries
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated proactivity and ability to follow tasks through to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize, assess, and appropriately escalate issues using strong professional judgment.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities and building strong cross-functional relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day operational support within the US DMPK Department.
  • Collaborate with on-site scientific teams, European colleagues, and external suppliers such as CROs to ensure timely and efficient processing of requests. Includes: processing of requests , study planning, result integration, and resolving issues
  • Support the implementation of tools (e.g. Benchling) and processes that enhance team communication and operational efficiency.
  • Track training assignments and ensure compliance with internal requirements.
  • Execute a variety of operational tasks, including:
  • Shipping and receiving of samples
  • Setting up purchase orders, managing purchasing and invoicing, tracking spend, and assisting with budget documentation
  • Ensuring timely receipt and review of data and input into digital platforms
  • Drafting memos and non-scientific communications
