About The Position

This 12-week program will train the candidate in GLP/GCP/GMP regulations, lab skills, and professional skills. The candidate and internship program manager will assign an area for the candidate to continue work in through the course of the program. At the end of the program the candidate will present their work in front of their peers, scientist, and site managers as available. Responsibilities

  • Enter data into databases
  • Follow SOPs and other applicable laboratory or company procedures
  • Maintain confidential information
  • Interact with the community and employees
  • Support and participate in other company initiatives as directed by senior management
  • Ability to use a computer to compile and maintain databases for records utiliz e the appropriate software
  • Maintains quality and accuracy of one’s d ata to the highest standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Participate in Laboratory Safety and Cleanliness
  • Display a working knowledge and awareness of general laboratory procedures
  • Display versatility and accuracy performing laboratory operations, some of which may be difficult and/or non-routin e
  • Display attitude for quality, an eye for detail, the ability to follow written instructions and work with a minimum of supervision
  • Prepare solutions for use in analysis
  • Perform routine sample analysis
  • U nderstand and follow GMP/GLP/GCP regulations with the ability to apply these practices daily
  • Perform other duties as assigned
