About the role This is a full-time position and on-site, hybrid or work from home is not an option. Working supervisory role providing day-to-day service solutions of an assigned team and/or sub-contractors to ensure services are delivered in a safe, GMP compliant, and timely manner within budget. As a CBRE LIS Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day service solutions of a small team to deliver Laboratory Instrument Services in a GxP environment. The services will be delivered in a Quality Control Laboratory to a Pharmaceutical client manufacturing product.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises, plans, directs, schedules and performs day-to-day and long-range activities for defined GMP Pharma Services scope, and ensures all programs and procedures to be delivered by the Pharma Services staff are being properly implemented.
  • Reviews work orders to ensure compliance with GMP processes as defined by the client, performance, safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements, as well as with all company policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Reviews and updates LIS equipment, maintenance and calibration procedures, and LTS (Laboratory Technical Services) procedures to ensure compliance with GMP processes as defined by the client.
  • Processes performance metrics; tracks, analyses, and reports performance in terms of quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction.
  • Takes corrective action to bring about required change and ensures contract requirements have been executed at a level above the specified standards.
  • Manages contractor specifications, problems/issues, performance, and administration.
  • Ensures supply of spare parts and consumables for in-scope Pharma Services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.
  • Recommends staff recruitment, selection, corrective action and termination.
  • Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.
  • Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.
  • Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
