About The Position

We are seeking a laboratory and equipment manager to support a gas phase sensor research laboratory. This position will be responsible for maintaining laboratory test equipment such as mass flow controllers, pressure transducers, gas sensors, etc. by keeping calibration logs, performing device validation and organizing service. They will track gas standards, coordinating disposal and ordering replacements as necessary. They will assist researchers by helping to prepare and perform experiments as requested. They will be required to keep diligent records about operations. The ideal candidate with have 5 years practical experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of laboratory management practices Experience with gas-phase sensing Excellent organization skills

  • ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
