About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is a skilled Laboratory / Donor Care Specialist to support blood collection and donor care services. This role involves performing phlebotomy procedures, ensuring donor eligibility, and maintaining accurate records while delivering a safe and positive donor experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior phlebotomy experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong venipuncture and specimen handling skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and patient care
Responsibilities
- Perform donor screening in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
- Conduct whole blood collections and therapeutic phlebotomy procedures
- Participate in on-site and off-site blood collection drives
- Prepare, label, and handle blood components and specimens
- Maintain accurate donor records, documentation, and data entry
- Support donor recruitment and outreach initiatives
- Monitor and restock donor care supplies as needed
- Collect blood specimens from donors and patients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
