About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director and Manager, is responsible for performing clerical duties and assisting the Pathologist and Technologists in the day-to-day functioning of the Laboratory Department. Will be responsible for some phlebotomy duties, assisting in performing approved testing and gathering data for quality reports, tracking reference lab results, etc.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory preferred
  • The knowledge and skills to perform duties using word processing, database and spreadsheets in the computer and phlebotomy skills preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree or higher Preferred.
