Responsibilities

Obtain blood and other specimens from patients and process them correctly
Correctly process specimens received through the tube system or brought from outside sources.
Assist in clerical duties.
Disinfect all counters each shift.
Clean morgue when needed, and maintain supplies.
Perform courier duties when needed.
Must be able to engage both fellow employees and customers with compassion and respect.

Review and sign all educational material that is made available.
Keep phlebotomy trays clean and maintained with supplies so they are always ready for use.
Keep break room, clean and organized.
