About The Position

Performs blood specimen collection, specimen receipt, and distribution of
laboratory specimens; will perform CLIA waived laboratory tests, as requested.
Will process anatomic pathology and cytology specimens, as requested. Assists
pathologists and histotechs as needed. Will supervise or lead lab assistant I
and II positions, as requested. Completes prioritization, receipt, registration,
and distribution of specimens. Has responsibility for send out/reference lab
shipping, tracking, and billing. Will perform waived testing, as requested. Will
assist with processing of anatomic pathology specimens including preparation of
microscopic tissue slides, staining and specimen management, as requested.
