About The Position
Up to $4,500 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility Performs routine technical and clerical functions. Performs specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens. Greets and directs laboratory visitors at front desk. Answers incoming phone calls.
Requirements
- 1 year of laboratory experience and/or completion of a formal phlebotomy training program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Basic laboratory computer/lab information system experience
- Completion of a phlebotomy program
- Completion of formal phlebotomy training program and/or national phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ANP, ASPT or similar
Responsibilities
- Performs routine technical and clerical functions to include specimen registration and billing.
- Performs specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens.
- Greets and directs laboratory visitors at front desk.
- Answers incoming phone calls.
- Performs related duties as required.
