Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (e.g., chemistry, biology) with 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with HPLC required . GC, KF, UV-Vis; familiarity with GMARS asset management system preferred.
  • Must have experience in a GMP space and be familiar with GDP.
  • LeadershIp: Must have professional leadership experience and ability to train other team members.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Work Style: Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of multitasking while maintaining accurate records and following procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with lab audits is strongly preferred
  • Project Management experience is strongly preferred.
  • This position is highly client-facing; client-facing experience is also strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise staff, coach and develop team members, foster morale, and support operational improvements.
  • Workflow & Performance: Coordinate daily tasks to meet turnaround times (TAT), conduct performance reviews, manage training records, and support hiring and succession planning.
  • Client & Project Support: Interface with clients and project teams to deliver asset and data management services.
  • Instrumentation Management: Perform and document qualifications (e.g., HPLC, GC, KF, UV-Vis), urgent repairs, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Vendor Coordination: Escort vendors for on-site maintenance and ensure proper documentation.
  • System & Compliance: Input data into GMARS, support change controls and investigations, and report on service metrics.
