About The Position

As our Labor Compliance Specialist, you will be the driving force behind our compliance operations, guiding a team of coordinators to ensure every project meets federal, state, and contractual labor requirements. Your expertise will safeguard our organization from risk, strengthen our relationships with unions and subcontractors, and ensure that every worker is compensated fairly and in accordance with the law. You won’t just be managing processes—you’ll be shaping a culture of compliance excellence that supports our people and our partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in labor compliance, prevailing wage administration, or a related field—preferably in construction or public works.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of IRA-PWA requirements, Davis-Bacon Act, and state prevailing wage laws.
  • Familiarity with union labor agreements and the ability to interpret and apply contract terms.
  • Hands-on experience with LCPTracker and ViewPoint Vista (or similar payroll/compliance systems).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for working with diverse stakeholders, from subcontractors to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Labor Compliance Coordinators, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in all compliance activities.
  • Oversee IRA-PWA (Inflation Reduction Act – Public Works Act) compliance for multiple projects, ensuring adherence to prevailing wage and reporting requirements.
  • Review and interpret union contracts to ensure compliance with labor agreements and project-specific obligations.
  • Conduct wage determinations reviews to verify correct classifications and pay rates for all trades and project scopes.
  • Manage LCPTracker setup for new projects, including subcontractor onboarding, training, and ongoing technical support.
  • Oversee ViewPoint Vista payroll code setup to ensure accurate wage reporting and compliance tracking.
  • Collaborate with project managers, payroll teams, and subcontractors to resolve compliance issues quickly and effectively.
  • Stay ahead of evolving labor laws, wage determinations, and reporting requirements, proactively updating processes and training materials.
