SUMMARY: The Label & Print Shop Floater is responsible for receiving, stocking and picking label orders. This position will also provide backup to the Print Shop by monitoring and facilitating production and quality check processes of Print projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned as needed. Process receiving paperwork to systematically receive labels Physically receive labels and stock shelves Pull labels required for Production work orders and deliver to production lines Cycle count and report label inventory Set up printers and print labels Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines Able to perform assigned housekeeping activities Assists in all activities of Print Shop, including but not limited to, daily production and assembly requirements for literature and EUL label orders, problem solving and communication with other departments. Responsible for completed mailing item organization via FedEx or post office; handling of electronic mailing lists, recommendations for cost savings in methods of delivery, completion of necessary forms, assembly of mailing. Proofing - Examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures, primarily utilized with order fulfillment. Ensures inventory levels of printed materials, orders all company print and office supplies. Uses various equipment (digital copiers, cutters, stitchers, laminators, shrink wrap, binders, spiral binder) to perform production tasks. Will provide support to large events (trade show or internal) – various duties as assigned by Marketing Coordinator including but not limited to: printing, ordering, packaging, packing crates, and physical setup. Addresses and adjusts errors and complaints. Examines process flow to address inefficiencies.
