About The Position
The Lab Technician performs laboratory procedures under the supervision of and as ordered by the physician. The Lab Technician is also cross-trained the running of EKG's.
Requirements
- Formal training which will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent
- Certification from an approved phlebotomy training program
- Experience with the public
- The ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations
- Pleasant attitude
- Neat appearance
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Previous experience in a laboratory at a multi-specialty clinic
