Analytical and/or testing Independently write, conduct, review, and report scientific inquiries Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation Assist with test method development and validation efforts Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations Ensure coverage and performance Future employee's will be working with: Process Control, NPRMs LC-CAD Analysis (Sweetener Batch Acceptance Process) Particle Size Stem Length NIR, pH/OV Balance Verification (Daily) Routine Sample Analyses (CFC, SFC, HLC, and CLC) – oven, pH, NIR, Sympatec and Retsch Finish CEM and pH (daily) Finish Sweetener Analysis to include: standard prep., extraction, testing, and maintenance. Lab Equipment Qualification (documentation and testing) Production Equipment Wypall sampling.

Requirements

  • High school or BS in Science or Engineering; 3-5+ years (high school) or 0-2+ (BS) related experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as needed, with occasional off-shift/weekend work
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and team building skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company and client policies
  • Ability to delegate workflow, as required
  • Ability to work overtime/weekends
  • Ability to work in a hot, dusty environment, lift over 50 lbs, and be standing for more than 50% of the shift
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
