About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, materials science, or a related discipline; bachelor's degree preferred.
Proven experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in a research setting.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex procedures accurately.
Basic knowledge of building materials and their properties is a plus.
Proficient in data collection and analysis techniques, including statistical methods.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting and collaboration.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently when required.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and execution of laboratory experiments related to building and materials research.
Conduct tests to evaluate the performance of building components under simulated extreme weather conditions.
Collect, record, and analyze data from experiments and tests, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop new testing protocols and methodologies.
Document experimental procedures and results for inclusion in research reports and publications.
Support other team members in various research activities as needed.
