Summary: Assemble rack-mountable cabinet. Assemble test equipment into a rack mountable cabinet (up to 50lbs weight on some equipment). Assemble electronic modules and assemblies into a test enclosure. Solder cables, connectors and interconnect all instruments inside the rack to: Power sources (110-220 VAC and 48VDC – safety factor) Fiber Optic Cables ( level up to 23 dBm – safety factor) Execute test SW programs to verify the tester is assembled correctly. Safety Training: Technician must have knowledge of safety with using assembly tools, soldering irons, electrical connections (DC and AC), fiber optic laser safety, able to lift up to 50 lbs. Example of Test Racks and equipment to be assembled and tested.

Requirements

  • Min 5 years' experience in hardware installation
