About The Position

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our lab operations team at our St. Joseph facility! Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is a cooperative that processes, sells and transports soybeans, grains and related products. Our company has become one of the largest soybean processing cooperatives in the world and our plants process soybeans that can be used in a variety of products such as animal feed, vegetable oil and fuels. Requirements

  • Team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer skills such as Microsoft Word
  • Must at least be at least 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Lab experience preferred (testing techniques, equipment and procedures)
  • Knowledge of agricultural production/ manufacturing a plus

Responsibilities

  • Safely perform accurate lab analyses on product samples
  • Record test results in laboratory database
  • Effectively report the results in a timely manner
