RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs moderate and high complexity tests per CLIA personnel standards. Performs a variety of microscopic, chemical, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Performs routine testing in serology, hematology, coagulation and chemistry. Performs quantitative and qualitative procedures in accordance with written requisition of physician. May tend automatic equipment. May collect specimens from patients. Keeps detailed records of all tests performed and reports to authorized personnel. HOURS: Weekend package, On-call Friday night 5:00pm to Monday morning 5:30am. QUALIFICATIONS: MT, MLT, MLA, or CLA. Must have good vision and verbal skill are required. Must be able to perform well under pressure and to cope with a variety of situations. Experience preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand and lift up to 10 pounds. Must have good visual abilities. Must be able to perform detailed tasks and be subject to interruptions.
