Position Summary: Verifies records on incoming and outgoing orders. Receives and/or creates orders so that customer commitments are created and accurately documented. Works with laboratory management in optimizing workflow in the calibration laboratory. Works with specifically identified customers in helping them manage their pipette inventory and service. Works in accordance with the company practices and procedures and generally accepted business and technical standards.

Requirements

  • Laboratory and Administrative experience is helpful for this role
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Valid driver’s license & clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, reports damage items to appropriate individuals.
  • Compares identifying information of incoming and outgoing units to verify information against order, pick ticket, or other information.
  • Controls order processing workflow in our database system, and process units into the calibration lab software so the customer commitments are met.
  • Distributes units to appropriate individuals and/or areas.
  • Maintains accurate, complete, and up-to-date section files and records.
  • Enters data accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Examines outgoing units against documents for errors.
  • Participates in daily QA process of outgoing work
  • Works with contracted clients in helping them manage their asset inventory and calibration schedules, coordinating and participating in pick up/delivery of units weekly or monthly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
