About The Position

The Laboratory Supervisor provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients performed in compliance with all applicable regulation, standards and practices. Directs, supervises and coordinates functions and activities in any or all areas assigned and in which a professional license is held. Plans, organizes and supervises the activities of all employees in areas of supervision to assure the prompt efficient, accurate and cost effective delivery of clinical laboratory information, test results, and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree
• Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license in specific area(s) supervised and/or Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license in other areas.
• Must successfully pass a color blindness test prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of clinical laboratory supervisor experience in multiple technical areas in an acute care hospital laboratory.
• Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license in an all five areas.
