About The Position

This position is responsible for the implementation and ongoing 24/7 support of various Laboratory applications within the Valley Health System (VHS). The VHS is an integrated health network serving over two million people in Southern Nevada, encompassing several hospitals including Valley Hospital Medical Center, Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Henderson Hospital, and Valley Health Specialty Hospital. The supported applications include, but are not limited to, Cerner PathNet, CareAware iBus, Siemens UniPOC, Lifepoint, and Voicebrook Dictation.

Requirements

• 3 years’ experience with laboratory information systems
• Experience using computer hardware/software
• LIS experience
• Licensed Medical Technologist in State of Nevada
• Demonstrate commitment and adherence to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer
• Ability to travel between facilities as needed

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related laboratory science
