Requirements

  • Proven experience in a laboratory setting, particularly within a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of common analytical methods and instruments.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to perform under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • A dedication to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Measurement and calibration results, along with associated documentation, are delivered to users within the required timeframes.
  • Laboratory consumables (glassware, solvents, gloves, reference materials, etc.) are managed to ensure the lab maintains sufficient supplies to complete required testing flawlessly.
  • Measurements and calibrations are conducted strictly following the operating procedures and processes, encompassing safety, transport, recycling of samples, and traceability.
  • Delivered results are reliable, validated as required, and any nonconformities are reported to the responsible functions for appropriate action.
  • Metrology quality requirements are applied, including verification of measurement conditions (temperature, hygrometry, calibration validity) with a focus on durability provisions (VQM).
  • Know-how is shared through training plans, ensuring continuous improvement and knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Support is provided in resolving production, safety, and environmental issues, contributing to a seamless and safe working environment.
  • Daily quality management is successfully implemented, ensuring high standards are maintained consistently.
  • Active communication with warehouse, production, and other personnel to ensure they have the information needed to control raw material reception/release and process management.
  • Required chemical tests for raw material acceptance, auditing, process control, and finished product testing are conducted using standard analytical techniques (wet and instrumental).
  • Work on special projects, including setting up and qualifying new methods, new instruments, and implementing methods from Michelin Central groups.
  • Support investigations related to raw materials and semi-finished products to fulfill production needs efficiently.
