About The Position
The Laboratory Assistant Phlebotomist is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for obtaining blood samples, transporting samples for medical testing, and processing specimens according to protocol and procedures. You will work together with the team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate care for patients.
Requirements
- Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification (MA-P) or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures professionally and with skill at various sites and explain to patient the procedure
- Ensure draws are collected in a timely manner and check all workload pending lists periodically for specimen accountability
- Accurately label patient samples following hospital policy
