Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
  • Minimum 2+ years bartending experience, high volume environment preferred.
  • Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Must be familiar with a service bar atmosphere combination with bar.
  • Must have wine, beer and spirits knowledge.
  • Must have an unexpired TIPs and Food Handler certification prior to starting.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, carry, place items up to 50lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for the entirety of the shift.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment that is exposed to the elements.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure associates take meal breaks and control overtime
  • Meet deadline for projects and new requests
  • Staff training
  • Responsible for product availability for all items
  • Monitor proper sanitation procedures for all facilities and equipment
  • Keep bar clean and organize in day- to day operation
  • Ensure Ecosure standards and procedures are maintained
  • Ensures that all pool bar and kitchen equipment is in good working order
  • Direct proper maintenance of all walk-in coolers (rotation of food products and cleanliness)
  • Participate and monitor daily food production
  • Monitors safety of staff
  • Conduct meetings with staff to resolve any operation concerns
  • Have clear understanding of department expectations, communicate them to the rest of the associates, and execute them within proper guidelines
  • Check and control prep and inventory lists
  • Oversee daily operations of pool bar and grill
  • Monitor daily activities and recreation programs
  • Maintain cleanliness of pool facility
  • Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs and respond to guest inquiries or requests.
  • Must have full knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
  • Properly provide silverware and condiments prior to food being presented at bar area.
  • Clean and resetting of bar area as guests depart or preparation of drink is completed.
  • Proper bar setup and break down.
  • Communicate with management, kitchen staff, and serving staff professionally at all times.
  • Contributes to a professional workplace that maximized employee morale, productivity and effectiveness. Works well with a diverse Front of House and Back of House staff.
  • Ensures responsible service of alcohol by following all legal requirements including carding and consumption.
  • Accurately takes food and beverage orders from guests and promptly records all transactions in Micros system. Maintains guest tabs and processes payment promptly.
  • Monitors pars.
  • Must have experience selling/up selling.
  • Must have knowledge of wine, spirits and beer.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment while offering a high level of service to all guests.
