About The Position

This position will be within the L&D team here at Aspida. As a broader part of the L&D/HR department, this position will have the ability to gain exposure to other functions and high impact projects. This role is required to be onsite 3 days a week at our Durham, NC headquarters.

Requirements

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree
  • Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
  • Support the development and updating of training materials, presentations, and handouts.
  • Create engaging learning content using tools like PowerPoint, Canva, or eLearning authoring software (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate).
  • Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions (e.g., post-training surveys).
  • Help create reports summarizing training effectiveness and engagement.
  • Assist with organizing learning-related events such as Lunch & Learns or leadership development programs.
  • Support internal communication efforts promoting L&D opportunities via newsletters, emails, or intranet updates.
  • Conduct research on best practices in learning trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Benchmark training programs against industry standards and competitors.
  • Schedule training sessions and manage logistics (e.g., room bookings, calendar invites, equipment setup).
  • Maintain organized digital files and training documentation.
  • Support L&D initiatives such as diversity and inclusion training, career development programs, or mentorship programs.
  • Contribute to one-time or long-term projects aligned with HR or organizational goals.
