About The Position

Responsible for safely and timely delivery, unloading/loading of equipment, interact with customers on equipment operation, and maintain a neat and organized lot. Essential Duties & Responsibilities including the following. Other duties may be assigned. Safely and in a timely manner transport equipment to customer and/or back to the store location When delivering to customers, conduct equipment walk-around with the customer answering any questions about the equipment delivered Pick-up and deliver Sales Department transfer units; this could include out-of-state transport Delivery vehicle is a class 8 truck Will assist the service department in performing road tests Pick-up and deliver equipment for service and repair Ensure delivery vehicles and trailers are clean and in proper working order Assist in the unloading/loading of equipment at the store, when available Maintain the front and rear lots of the store, to always be clean and organized Complete assigned training, as required, for product knowledge, transportation safety, and per company policies and procedures. General Expectations Devote himself/herself to ensuring satisfaction to customers, positively representing the Kubota and Floyd’s brand Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening. Attend company meetings, as required Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects Maintain regular and thorough communication with the assigned team Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively Understand the terminology of the business and keep abreast of technology changes in products and services Know and understand the federal, state, and local requirements which govern the company’s business Follow lawful directions from supervisors Understand and follow work rules and procedures Participate in performance management Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required

Requirements

  • Specialized CDL is required, prefer with air brake endorsement but not mandatory. If currently doesn't possess CDL, must be able to obtain immediately.
  • Must pass Pre-Employment Drug Test
  • Must have a clean Driving Record, with current South Dakota License
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience transporting equipment a plus
  • Experience operating equipment a plus.
