About The Position

The Kroc Associate is focused on member acquisition and experience in the areas Membership, Recreation and Fitness. These staff members are responsible for participating in the creation of a welcoming, helpful and safe environment where individuals and families can learn, grow and thrive.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
• Ability to demonstrate good physical condition and effort associated with walking, running, standing, and moderate-to-advanced weightlifting in a fitness center environment including the ability to meet the demands of the gymnasium and athletic field programs.
• Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy (25-50 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Moderate mobility: duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent changes basis.
• Safe From Harm Certification
• Blood Borne Pathogens Certification
• Must have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aide/AED certification within first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer relations and leading fitness and recreational activities preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greets all people that we come in contact with throughout the Kroc Center
• Answers incoming phone calls and addresses needs in a professional and kind manner
• Uphold Kroc Center policies to maintain a safe and family friendly environment
• Operates CCMS/RMS computer software for customer transactions in accordance to Salvation Army and member policies
