About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Knowledge Transfer (KT) Lead to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage KT strategy and transition plans covering technical, operational, and process domains. Define documentation standards, templates, and knowledge artifacts (runbooks, SOPs, playbooks, codebooks, training curricula). Lead and facilitate KT workshops, shadowing programs, mentoring, train-the-trainer sessions, and cross‑functional briefings. Capture institutional knowledge from SMEs through interviews, observation, and artifact collection; convert into consumable deliverables. Coordinate and oversee knowledge capture cadence, milestone tracking, and handover events with program and technical leads. Implement metrics and feedback mechanisms to assess KT effectiveness and inform continuous improvement. Manage knowledge repository updates, version control, and access controls; ensure artifacts meet program governance and audit requirements. Provide status reports, metrics, and recommendations to leadership on KT progress and readiness for transition/acceptance. #ENOCS

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Clearance: TS/SCI (active)
  • Candidate must meet ONE: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering; OR Relevant DoD/Military training (e.g., 4C‑FA26B; Knowledge Manager (Advanced) Playlist).
  • Experience in knowledge management, technical training, transition planning, or related roles leading KT initiatives in technical/DoD environments.
  • Strong facilitation, technical writing/documentation, curriculum development, stakeholder engagement, repository management, and metrics/reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with DoD 8140 considerations, classified environment operations, and KM toolsets (SharePoint/Confluence/EA repos).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior DoD/Army/ARNG transition, program, or KM experience
  • Experience with LMS platforms, content authoring tools, and structured mentoring programs
  • Proven success producing decision‑grade KT artifacts accepted by leadership and receiving teams
