The Mission Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the information broker role to work in our San Antonio, TX office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems mission. The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex systems. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Jira, Confluence, how forums operate, and ServiceNow
  • Very Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Experienced in MS Office and information control best practices Agile methodologies, software development life cycle management, test-driven development, software test planning, and software test automation.
  • BA or BS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Must possess an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with defensive cyber
  • Prior experience supporting Air Force Cyber or Cyber Command
  • Deep understanding of Department of Defense knowledge management policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience transforming knowledge management within a complex defense or commercial systems program

Responsibilities

  • Enable the organization to identify, document, and access intellectual assets like employee expertise, best practices, and organizational knowledge
  • Perform information searches, knowledge mapping, and knowledge management
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and privacy
  • Design, build, implement, and maintain a knowledge management framework that provides end-users access to the organization's intellectual capital based
  • Promote and enable knowledge sharing between information owners/users through an organization's operational processes and systems
  • Lead efforts to promote the organization's use of knowledge management and information sharing
  • Collaborative Planning: Work closely with military personnel, subject matter experts, and partner organizations to ensure seamless integration of knowledge management practices into the customer's environment
  • Provide actionable insights to enhance decision-making processes
  • Transform legacy Air Force knowledge management processes (disparate /duplicative websites) and feedback mechanisms (long e-mail chains) into modern interactive knowledge bases using process such as forum moderator or wiki's.
  • Lead transformation of tech writers using static word documents for technical configuration documents, checklists, training documents, etc, into tech editors that support 1000's of collaborators using online/interactive methods that include hyperlinks, document tagging, and processes that allow for large number of collaborators while editing out inaccurate information, editing technically correct but poorly written documents, and celebrating/recognizing strong contributors.
