About The Position

The Knowledge Management Specialist supports the design, development, and implementation of Knowledge Management (KM) strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness and information sharing. This role applies expertise in KM tools, governance structures, and content management practices to develop sustainable KM programs. The position supports behavioral change initiatives and strategic alignment of knowledge assets with organizational objectives. Requirements

  • Approximately five (5) years of experience in knowledge management, information management, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing KM strategies or governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and collaboration platforms.
  • Experience analyzing business processes to identify knowledge gaps.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles.
  • Ability to provide advisory support and thought leadership on KM best practices.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational functions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Information Systems, Business, Management, Library Science, Organizational Development, or related field required;OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and implementing Knowledge Management (KM) strategies and initiatives.
  • Apply expertise in KM tools and information management systems.
  • Deploy content management and information governance strategies.
  • Identify barriers to KM behavioral change and support development of effective change management programs.
  • Analyze business processes and conduct stakeholder interviews to assess KM needs.
  • Evaluate strategic and IT plans to align KM initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Develop KM governance structures, policies, and implementation processes.
  • Provide consulting-level insight on best practices in KM, portal design, intellectual capital management, and content strategy.
  • Support development and optimization of enterprise knowledge-sharing platforms.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and briefings related to KM initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders to ensure successful KM program adoption.
