About The Position

Tacoma Water is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Knowledge Management Intern to join our team and contribute to our critical Distribution Order (DO) project. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in a professional environment. You will work closely with experienced records management professionals, applying your academic knowledge to real-world projects and contributing to our goal of achieving a single source of truth for our Distribution Orders, a critical component of Water's asset information and records.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of post-high school training

Responsibilities

• Track and report on data quality issues identified and perform thorough quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Execute merge and purge activities to consolidate information into a single, definitive version; prioritize and address existing issues before moving to general consolidation.
• Verify and update SharePoint metadata to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Complete manual adjustments to data, including research, quality assurance, and data review.
