About The Position

Join the team at Eck Industries, a leader in aluminum casting and innovation for over 75 years. We're looking for a motivated individual to remove sand shell material from castings following established methods and procedures. This individual will operate a shaker table, other machines, and hand tools as directed.

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience preferred (we’ll train motivated applicants!).
• Comfortable working with machinery, power tools, bobcat, fork truck.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Team-oriented attitude and a strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use hammers, air tools, and knockout equipment to remove sand and mold material from castings
• Operate shaker tables, hoists, forklifts, and other machinery to clean, move, and prepare castings
• Break molds, clean castings, remove chills and hooks, and separate gating into correct bins
• Stamp castings and use compressed air to clean tight or detailed areas
• Place castings on pallets with required paperwork
• Complete daily inspections on tools and equipment and fill out required forms
• Follow work instructions for product specifications, tools, and operational steps
• Maintain housekeeping and follow 6S standards at the end of each shift
