About The Position

Dash In is seeking enthusiastic Team Members to join their kitchen team, offering a starting wage of $16.50 per hour with an additional $1 per hour premium for overnight shifts. Dash In, part of the Wills Group family of brands, is launching a new, chef-inspired food concept designed to revolutionize delicious eats in a 24/7 retail environment. The company is building a Back of House (BOH) team to prepare delectable dishes and provide an exceptional food service experience to guests.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program)
• 1 year of food service experience, line cook or prep cook experience preferred
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Active ServSafe certification, or a similar qualification
• Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Follow the sacred codes of food safety, sanitation, and quality, conjuring up culinary delights that leave taste buds dancing.
• Keep an eagle eye on prep levels, making sure everything's in tip-top shape and ready to serve.
• Keep your prep station shipshape, restock, organize, and keep things tidy because a clean kitchen is a happy kitchen.
• Put goods in their proper place when they arrive, ensuring everything's ready for the cooking extravaganza.
• Maintain the kitchen's impeccable appearance, staying on top of the cleanliness game.
• Connect with guests while working your culinary magic, delivering a personalized experience that leaves them coming back for seconds.
• Operate food service equipment like a seasoned pro, from deep fryers to slicers and everything in between.
• Flex muscles and use proper lifting techniques to handle large containers like a boss, specifically five-gallon soft drink containers, weighing in at 50 to 65 pounds.
