About The Position

Seeking passionate, leader minded Kitchen Supervisor personnel who would be responsible for assisting with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers, aiding in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas while ensuring health and safety regulations are being followed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work well in a possibly stressful and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in restaurant management or certification from culinary school is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ordering materials, supplies, and ingredients based on demand.
  • Supervising kitchen employees and organizing food orders.
  • Overseeing the food preparation and cooking process.
  • Training kitchen employees in designated stations.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and performing weekly inventory assessments.
  • Working with the restaurant manager to price and alter menu items.
  • Scheduling work shifts for employees.
  • Storing all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensuring the kitchen is clean and organized.
  • Maintaining weekly and monthly cost reports.
