The Kitchen Supervisor directs daily culinary operations to ensure high-quality food, exceptional guest service, and efficient kitchen performance in compliance with company policies and safety regulations. This role supervises and trains kitchen staff, monitors performance, manages inventory and food costs, and works closely with the Chef de Cuisine to maintain consistency and operational excellence. Additionally, the Kitchen Supervisor assists with menu execution, daily specials, and staff development while upholding all departmental standards and procedures. This is a full-time position with day, night, and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily culinary operations, including opening and closing procedures, in assigned locations.
  • Oversee all kitchen staff, including Kitchen Lead, line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, ensuring adherence to service, productivity, and quality standards.
  • Train and mentor new and existing employees to ensure understanding of company policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
  • Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure recipe compliance, monitor food cost and waste, and maintain sanitation and safety standards.
  • Manage ordering, inventory tracking, and assist with labor cost control for assigned locations.
  • Prepare daily specials and coordinate marketing promotions as needed.
  • Communicate with staff regarding menu items, daily specials, operational issues, and provide feedback to/from management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all culinary duties and positions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, departmental procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Address staff concerns and issues in collaboration with the Chef de Cuisine.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
