Requirements

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required.
  • Flexible availability required, including days, evenings, and weekends, as Canyon Ranch operates year-round.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen areas to Canyon Ranch standards.
  • Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks such as chopping, shredding, washing, and rotating stock.
  • Gain hands-on experience in a busy kitchen while supporting the culinary team beyond cleaning responsibilities.
  • Clean and organize kitchen and surrounding areas, including sweeping, mopping, and proper disposal of refuse.
  • Set up, operate, maintain, and break down dishwashing equipment, including changing water, detergents, and rinse agents as needed.
  • Organize, assemble, and stock kitchen equipment to support culinary staff in food production; run errands and assist with additional tasks as directed.
