About The Position
The Kitchen Specialist assists in food preparation, service, and sanitation to support safe and efficient kitchen operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with meal prep and service. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards. Follow food handling procedures. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- ServSafe certification required, or willingness and ability to obtain prior to the start of camp (training can be provided)
- Food service experience preferred.
- Ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety standards.
- Ability to model Girl Scout values and create a physically and emotionally safe, inclusive environment for all participants.
- Ability to reside on-site during camp sessions.
