About The Position

We are looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Shift Lead (Supervisor) candidates to join our team at Chick-fil-A Keizer. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of restaurant experience in a leadership position required
  • This is a Full-time position and full schedule availability is required (Mon-Sat; 5:30am-midnight; Holidays)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • You must be hard-working, team-oriented, friendly, honest and have a desire to serve others
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment
  • Mentality of a leader with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Fun, outgoing, energetic personality
  • Ability and eagerness to mentor younger workers and to have a positive impact on their professional development

Responsibilities

  • Lead the shift and motivate the team to achieve goals by using effective communication and positivity
  • Ensure Team Members are attentive and caring utilizing the Core 4 service model
  • Help to identify and actively develop future Leaders within the organization
  • Support the training and development of Team Leads, Training & Support Leads, and others that aspire to Lead.
  • Maintain a focused, fun, and caring work environment
  • Provide coaching and feedback to Team Members regarding their performance
  • Record any handbook violations
  • Exemplify and enforce all policies set forth by the Operator including but not limited to: (a) appearance standards, (b) punctuality and attendance standards, (c) Pathway training standards and (d) exhibiting restaurant vision and values.
  • Demonstrate the ability to openly receive feedback and direction from Senior Leadership without becoming defensive
  • Actively participate in team leadership meetings
  • Ensure that all shifts are set up prior to the shift by reviewing the position assignment and break plans
  • Ensure that the next shift is set up to succeed
  • Utilize H.E.A.R.D model to ensure negative guest experience recovery
  • Ensure restaurant is a refreshingly clean and safe environment
  • Certify Team Members on specified tasks once they demonstrate their capability
  • Take initiative to identify and resolve issues within the restaurant
  • Finds coverage for shifts when call outs occur
  • Send out accurate shift notes using the appropriate channel
  • Identify and react properly to danger zones in operations
