About The Position
If you enjoy a customer service facing role with the added challenge of kitchen duties then this position at the prestigious Inn on Woodlake in Kohler, WI is the right opportunity for you. Specific job responsibilities: Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine. Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering. Change dishwater in dish machine every hour. Trash removal. Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions. Sweep/mop floors. Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster. Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed. Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures. Prepares salad bar items .Ensures freshness of all items; maintains small condiments with fresh contents. Ensures refrigeration of appropriate items immediately. There are part time positions available with shifts between 5 am and 12 pm, weekdays and weekends
Requirements
- Some experience in the food preparation field in a restaurant, kitchen or dining area.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Knowledge of food preparation methods and operations, of kitchen equipment and materials used in food prep work.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
