The Kitchen Manager supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Kitchen Manager at the YMCA of Northern Utah maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals, promotes the potential of all youth, and provides a quality experience to both youth and their families. Must be a self-starter and also be able to follow directions. As with all food related jobs, you must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Kitchen staff must be friendly and able to greet children and parents. This person will regularly interact with the children, so an interest in working with children is key to liking the job.
