About The Position

Kitchen Manager / Line Cook (Temporary with Potential for Permanent Hire) Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech, a McConnell Golf property, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager / Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is a temporary position lasting a minimum of one month, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with McConnell Golf, a respected and growing organization with properties in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Schedule:Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Thursday and Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Compensation:$20 per hourMinimum one-month assignment compensation: $3,280

Requirements

  • Previous line cook experience required
  • Kitchen management experience required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

  • The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in accordance with club standards, recipes, and sanitation guidelines.
