About The Position
Kitchen Manager / Line Cook (Temporary with Potential for Permanent Hire) Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech, a McConnell Golf property, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager / Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is a temporary position lasting a minimum of one month , with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with McConnell Golf , a respected and growing organization with properties in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia . Schedule: Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Compensation: $20 per hour Minimum one-month assignment compensation: $3,280
Requirements
- Previous line cook experience required
- Kitchen management experience required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Responsibilities
- The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in accordance with club standards, recipes, and sanitation guidelines.
