About The Position

This role involves working alongside the Sous Chef, Restaurant Chef, and Executive Sous Chef to lead a dynamic and high-functioning kitchen team. The supervisor will support and oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service, consistent quality, and a strong team environment. The position requires leadership experience and hands-on line knowledge to mentor teammates, maintain high culinary standards, and keep the kitchen running efficiently. A strong commitment to food safety and sanitation is essential, as the supervisor will help uphold and enforce all health and safety guidelines. This is an active and fast-paced position.

Requirements

  • Line and prep cooking skills
  • Understanding of kitchen sanitizing procedures
  • Supervisory skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient culinary skills
  • Proficient computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications)
  • Serve safe certification
  • Must be at least 21

Nice To Haves

  • Management experience
  • Basic meal and food fabrication skills
  • Understanding of kitchen materials

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee meals within guidelines of menu, dietary requirements, and the standards of appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation
  • Oversee kitchen operations on shift
  • Learn to place orders as needed
  • Enforce scheduling of kitchen staff
  • Ensure that items for service are prepared safely and correctly
  • Perform and oversee proper portioning and correct food processes
  • Other duties as assigned by management
