Kitchen Helper | 1st & 2nd Shift
About The Position
National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of Kitchen Helpers to work at our location in Des Plaines, IL 60018. Duties and responsibilities Be part of a team, creating high-end products served daily to hundreds of international airline guests! Assist chefs and cooks with different tasks in the kitchen: food preparation, cutting fruits and vegetables, preparing small dishes, food platting and setting up airline catering trays Read, understand and follow menu specifications Keep kitchen areas clean and tidy Comply with hygiene, quality and safety standards at all times. Available schedules: MONDAY - SUNDAY From 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM. (2 days off in during the week, weekly schedule will be provided by supervisor). Pay rate: $19.35 per hour. Bi-weekly pay.
Requirements
- Per our client’s request, Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
- Must be authorized to lawfully work in the US.
- Must have two updated valid forms of IDs.
- Need to have and wear Slip Resistant shoes at work.
- A Background check and Drug test will be conducted.
- Must have own transportation to get to and from work.
- Must be able to start working as soon as possible.
