At Roshana Care Group, we enrich lives through genuine care and meaningful connection About the Facility Carmel Aged Care is a 120‑bed, purpose‑built facility in the Perth Hills suburb of Carmel, set among natural bushland about 30 minutes from the Perth CBD. The home features modern wings with private ensuites, landscaped gardens and contemporary common areas that create a calm, welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a Kitchen Hand to join our aged care team at Carmel Aged Care, in a (casual or permanent part‑time) capacity. About the Role The role of the Kitchen Hand is to provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service and products to our valued customers. The Kitchen Hand is responsible for assisting in the delivery of high-quality products whilst adhering to the policies and procedures of Roshana. We are seeking a Part Time Kitchen Hand to work at our Carmel facility, located in the Perth Hills of WA.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Certificate
• Excellent Communication skills
• Time Management skills
• Written and Verbal communication skills
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• An understanding of food safe principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent high quality customer service to both internal and external customers to the prescribed service standards.
• Prepare food and beverage products to the prescribed standard operating procedures/ duty statement
• Complete cleaning tasks as prescribed by the standard operating procedures/duty statement or as directed by the Chef on duty
• Compliance with food safety program, policies, and procedures
• Advise Chef on duty of any catering related issues and needs where required.
• Maintain stock levels as per stock control systems and procedures to ensure customers’ needs and presentation standards are meet
• To report all workplace hazards immediately e.g., walkway obstructions, poor lighting, faulty electrical equipment, incorrectly stored boxes, or obstructed exit door
