About The Position

Under general supervision, responsible for the overall custodial functions and cleanliness of the Resort and Casino kitchens, buffet areas, restaurants, concession area, lounge and related facilities, in accordance with management directives. The Custodial Supervisor is a working supervisor and is required to assume the same cleaning duties if the general custodial staff requires assistance. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of responsible experience in a kitchen/dining custodial work environment including one (1) year supervisory experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
  • Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Directs, supervises, and evaluates the work assigned to kitchen/dining custodial personnel.
  • Oversees custodial duties: Cleaning of ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, floors, walls, doors, trash disposal, buffet bars, tables, chairs, and carpet cleaning.
  • Oversees cleaning of Resort and Casino kitchens, restaurants, buffet area, concessions and other areas when required.
  • Maintains an inventory and orders kitchen/dining custodial cleaning supplies as required.
  • Schedules kitchen/dining custodial staff daily cleaning duties.
  • Conducts orientation of new custodial employees.
  • Completes and processes associated employee disciplinary action reports and recommendations.
  • Conducts employee performance evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Prepares and maintains files, records, reports, and related documents in support of kitchen/dining custodial activities.
  • Enforces Stewarding Department standard operating procedures.
  • Schedules the kitchen/dining custodial staff work shift schedule.
  • Under an emergency evacuation and fire, the ability to control emergency mechanical functions, such as turn off/on electric power and gas.
  • Signs off and monitors kitchen/dining custodial employee timecards for accuracy.
  • Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
